Our bodies are quite adept at repairing themselves. We use methods that aid that natural ability with modalities like Auriculotherapy or Ear Acupuncture, soft laser therapy, Gold and Silver pellets, ear massage and microcurrent.
Auricular Acupuncture/Auriculotherapy first came to modern medical attention for its efficacy in the treatment of pain, notably sciatic pain. It has since been applied clinically in patients with many painful conditions. For example, there is evidence that Auriculotherapy is effective in the treatment of migraine and that the selection of auricular target points matter.
An Auriculotherapy protocol known as Battlefield Acupuncture (utilized by the US Armed Forces) has been found through clinical trials to be useful for treating patients in a variety of painful situations.
Various nedleless techniques have been used with success such as Soft Lasers. Microcurrent. acupressure with Gold or Silver pellets, Ear acupoint massage.
